Both of Translation and Interpretation serve for languages, but they are two different words. It seems to be a great deal of confusion regarding these two words.
As translators, they must have excellent analyzing abilities and strong roots in grammar. What they need to do is translate the source language into target language. Even though they have much time compared to interpreters, they need to posses impeccable writing skill as well. Nowadays, Translation company are more and more known by us, since many companies need to translate their contracts. Contracts are important, so they need to translated by professional translators.
Compared to translators, interpreters don’t need to write down their words. What they need to do is speaking. They use the oral medium as their mode of communication. Interpreters thus need to have mental adroitness and a nearly photographic memory, as well as strong analytical and research skills. Interpreters can be divided tow forms which is simultaneous interpreter and consecutive interpreter.
There are some difference between these two interpreters. Simultaneous interpreters need to keep translating as the speaker talks. So they need to pay high concentration to their jobs, and for this reason  that this job demands these interpreters often work in pairs for twenty minute segments. While consecutive interpreters can have several sentences time. They translate these after several sentences or a paragraph. They have little time but they need to have a good memory. A consecutive interpreter is usually requested in case of a one-on-one communication.
